These are pieces that don't fit a category, but that I just want to offer.

I bought this image at an Art Sale in Ithaca. It reminded me so strongly of my own childhood that I asked the artist, Kathy Morris if I could offer it for sale at my site. Luckily she agreed, so this is the only item for sale at Maryhill Clayworks that is not by Jacques Schickel. It is a warm-tone, black-and-white Giclee print, printed on a Colorspan high quality wide format printer on archival watercolor paper. Signed by the artist. It is as it was.

Hand-painted Cornflower Table Runner

ns005

I originally made this as a backdrop for one of our photo shoots. Several people said to me, "That is just great. You should offer that for sale." I offer this hand-painted, artist-signed paper table covering for not much more than what you will pay for a disposable paper table cloth at a 'Party Store.' If you want something more distinctive and unique for that really special event, try this. If it takes a spill, well, it is disposable. Like the cornflower it blooms for the moment. If it survives the party it makes a neat wall hanging. Order it by the yard at our web store. Enter the number of yards you want under 'quantity,' and we will promptly ship it to you.

Planter Man

ns006

Did you ever have one of those days when everything seemed to be coming up flowers? This guy does every day. This terra cotta flower pot has a drainage hole, so it's not a vase.

"I am a proud collector of the beautiful and whimsical work of Jacques Schickel. Every time I use a bowl, vase or plate from Maryhill Clayworks, I'm reminded of a country garden on a languid summer day."
